Introducing Olivia Denae-Li Langley

Here she is!!! Isn't she beautiful??? Anthony and I just cried when we saw her for the first time. The grandparents just screamed and said she is soooo pretty (oh and some blubbered like a whale!!! :) We are sooo proud of her and we think, as all parents do, that she is the most beautiful little girl ever!!!! We are so excited and can't wait to hold her in our arms. I can't even imagine how we will feel then. Anthony was trying to get her to crawl to him out of the picture!!! HAHAHA!! I will post more of our feelings later, but right now I can't really think straight. God has truly blessed us beyond anything we could imagine!! PRAISE THE LORD!! Hope you enjoy!!

WE HAVE A DAUGHTER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

YEAH!!! We got the call at 2:45 pm from America World that we have a little girl. Her name is Chen Li Jian
Hunan Province
Born: Nov. 20, 2006...yep barely 7 months!!!! (we asked for AYAP)
In an orphanage
Last vitals were on April 10th: she weighed 5.8kg (12 pounds) and 62 cm (24.4 inches a little over 2 feet)
They say she has beautiful dark eyes and just a little hair, so no bows for a while. AWAA said she is beautiful (but I bet they tell everyone that :) We don't care...she's going to be gorgeous!!
Tentative travel dates are end of August, beginning of Sept.

We cannot begin to tell you how excited we were. I don't really remember much, except what I wrote down, and all I remember is shaking and crying!!! It's the most wonderful experience. I HATED the wait from knowing it was coming today until the call....seemed like forever!!! But it finally came.

We will have picture tomorrow, it was too late to send them tonight, so I will post them as soon as I can tomorrow. Thank you to all who prayed! All my kids were home or able to be called and my very special friends were all in town and I was able to call them!!
PRAISE THE LORD!!

I have to tell you these things that just proves that she is sent to us and picked by God himself. Her birthday is my dad's only brother's birthday and he passed in 1999 it's also my new sister-in-laws birthday. Her middle name is Li and both Anthony's grandmothers had Lee as their middle name. Anthony's sister and our niece also have Lee as the middle name. I thought how neat it would be if her middle name was Li and it was...oh my goodness, I promise!! So her name will be Olivia Denae-Li. Another thing, that beautiful little girl, Alana, that I have become soo close to is also from Hunan!!! And one more thing....we got the call a day before my dad's birthday!!! All these things above makes us see even more that this is God's baby girl for us and we couldn't be happier!!!

Her brothers are sooo excited. They just can't wait to see her finally!!!!

Sooo until tomorrow....I hope I can sleep!!! WE HAVE A DAUGHTER!!!! THANK YOU GOD!!!

Could it be Tomorrow????

Just so everyone knows, there is a CHANCE that we will get "The Call" tomorrow. IF we don't get it then, it will be Monday!!! OH MY GOODNESS!!! Our little Olivia is on her way to us. Monday will mark 21 months we have been waiting since China knew we existed. We started the process in March of 2005, but China got all our paperwork and gave us an LID of Nov. 9, 2005!! So 21 months ago!! It has been a llooooonnnnnggg journey, but it's about to get VERY exciting. Anthony sent me a text tonight that said, "You are my baby girl until tomorrow!!" He has called me his baby girl for about 12 years now, and I am going to lose my title, but you know what??? I am okay with that!! Sitting here waiting to see if there is going to be a phone call is, I think, the hardest part so far of this whole journey. The wait killed me, but THIS wait, the phone call wait, is KILLING me!! I had to get out of the house tonight because I just couldn't sit here and keep hitting refresh on Rumor Queen, things weren't changing!!! :) Well, here's to praying for a call tomorrow!! IF not, it's only 3 more days!!! I can't believe it!! Oh, and the CCAA updated their website....yeah!! The CCAA has finished the review of the adoption application documents registered with our office before May 31, 2006. The CCAA has finished the placement of children for the families whose adoption application documents were registered with our office before November 14, 2005.
It's official..the cut-off is the 14th!!! And look, they flew through May review!! Go ahead CCAA...start speeding things up!!!
Here's to being able to post THE PICTURE and information about our precious treasure tomorrow!!! YEAH!!!!

Our baby shower!!

Oh my goodness, what a night this was. Joy had a great idea to make it a family night with a potluck meal and all the families included because this whole adoption is a church thing!! It turned out to be absolutely wonderful. Joy, who was preganant with twin boys and had them the next day, couldn't be there, so two of my other friends, Heather and Lana, had to pull it off. They did an absolutely wonderful job. I know that Joy and Heather had gotten all the stuff and had it pretty well ready to decorate, but it went off without a hitch!! There were sooo many people there and the gifts, oh my!! Anthony and I were overwhelmed. This is just a glimpse of how much our church family cares for us. We know that men don't like going to showers, but there were plenty there (maybe because there was food :) Thank you soo much to Joy, Heather and Lana for all the planning and hard work that went into this wonderful day. Joy, we missed you greatly and I know it upset you that you weren't there, but all your hard work didn't go unnoticed by me!! (And the boys are gorgeous) I love all of you guys and appreciate all you did!!I do think that Linda bought the balloons, and I LOVED them. Thank you to her too! And to my church family, we love you with all of our hearts and can't wait to bring Olivia home so that she can be "the church's girl!!" Here are some pictures!!
